To the elves,
half-elves are considered to be unfortunate victims of the
thoughtlessness of young elves. To humans, they are pointy eared
freaks that have no business among the ranks of men. No matter how
they are treated, half-elves are not at all ugly, they are almost
as beautiful as their elven counterparts.
Half-elves are born out of human-elf mix. They received the gift
of balance from their human counterparts, and the slight weakening
and increased intelligence from their elven lineage. They also
have maintained the elven ability to see in the dark, and the human
ability to follow any alignment.
